Air conditioning contractor in The Woodlands, TX

The Woodlands is a master-planned community divided into nine villages, with homes ranging from 1970s-era properties in Grogan's Mill to newer construction in Creekside Park, which opened in 2007. This range of building eras means air conditioning equipment ages vary widely across the community, and older homes in the original villages often have ductwork and system configurations that no longer match current efficiency standards. Summer heat in this heavily wooded corridor is compounded by tree canopy that traps humidity close to the ground, keeping outdoor conditions muggy well into the evening hours. Homes with mature landscaping also tend to have outdoor condenser units that accumulate leaf debris and organic matter faster than units in open suburban yards, which affects airflow and efficiency.

The Woodlands, TX

Air Conditioning Contractor

Serving Every Woodlands Village From Grogan's Mill to Creekside

The Woodlands was built in phases over more than three decades. A home in Grogan's Mill may have original ductwork from the 1970s, while a home in Alden Bridge was built in the 1990s with a completely different system layout. We assess the actual equipment and duct condition in your home before recommending any service, repair, or replacement.

The dense tree canopy that makes The Woodlands attractive also creates specific AC challenges. Outdoor condenser units near mature oaks and pines collect debris that restricts airflow across the coil. A coil running with restricted airflow works harder, runs longer, and wears out faster. Clearing and cleaning the condenser is a standard part of every maintenance visit we perform here.

We treat every customer with honesty and professionalism. You will know what we found, what it costs, and why we recommend what we recommend before any work begins. Our process is simple: contact us, get an estimate, sign a contract, we complete the job, and final payment follows only after you are satisfied.

Every service, available in The Woodlands, TX

Air conditioning maintenance is in high demand across The Woodlands because the community's older villages have systems that have logged many years of Gulf Coast runtime. Homeowners in Grogan's Mill and Panther Creek frequently need air conditioning repair on aging equipment, while newer sections like Sterling Ridge and Creekside Park see more installation and sales activity as buyers upgrade builder-grade systems. Heating service is relevant here too, as Montgomery County sees occasional hard freezes that stress heat exchangers in systems that spend most of the year in cooling mode. Mini-split air conditioning is a growing option for sunrooms, detached garages, and home offices added to properties that were not originally designed to accommodate them.

I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional and honest A/C repair service. Our outside unit was not working and our house reached 89 degrees. Mario was able to come out the same day I called him and get our unit working. We just bought our house last year and he was able to educate us on the age of our system and recommended when we should think about getting it replaced since we bought an older home and the outside unit is definitely aged. We have a home warranty program but in the future we will be calling Machorro Multiservices for our A/C needs.

This was my first time to work with Primo. They were on time as scheduled. They prepped the work area to protect the furniture and carpeting and cleaned up afterwards. they were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about our needs and in the installation of our new unit. Should we have need for an additional unit in the future we will certainly use them.

Absolutely outstanding service from Primo Air Master. The first company we called said that the blower motor died and that our unit was too old to repair. They gave us an estimate for it to be completely replaced for $5500-$7500. We called Mario for a second opinion and he found that the blower motor was fine and that the problem was actually the capacitor. He made that repair and completed a summer service on the unit for a fraction of the cost. What stands out more than the repair and the cost saving is their INTEGRITY. They are experts providing legitimate repairs instead of companies scamming customers with unnecessary new equipment, expensive service plans, and working on commission. Additionally, they were responsive, timely, and friendly. Don’t be fooled by those larger companies because this smaller business will take better care of you.

Primo Air Masters has serviced my family's home for many years. Mr Mario Machorro and his staff has always done an outstanding job on my family's HVAC needs. The technicians are very professional and courteous, and they do an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company to my family and friends (and already have).

Air Conditioning Contractor FAQ for The Woodlands, TX

Common questions from The Woodlands, TX customers about our services, process, and coverage.

A system from the 1990s has logged a significant number of Houston-area cooling hours and likely uses an older refrigerant type that is no longer manufactured. If the repair cost is substantial, replacement with a current system often makes more financial sense and delivers better humidity control. We will give you a clear cost comparison so you can make an informed decision.

The heavy tree canopy in The Woodlands drops pollen, seed pods, and leaf debris onto outdoor condenser units throughout the year. This organic matter packs into the condenser coil fins and restricts airflow, forcing the system to work harder. Scheduling a coil cleaning as part of annual maintenance prevents this from becoming a repair issue.

Yes. A ductless mini-split air conditioner is a practical solution for sunrooms, bonus rooms, and detached structures in The Woodlands that are not served by the home's existing ductwork. The indoor air handler mounts on the wall and connects to an outdoor unit through a small refrigerant line, with no major renovation required.

Yes. Montgomery County experiences hard freezes during winter months, and heating systems that spend most of the year idle can develop issues with heat exchangers, ignitors, and refrigerant lines. A fall heating check before temperatures drop is the best way to catch problems before they become emergencies.
