Air conditioning contractor in Cypress, TX

Cypress is a large unincorporated community in northwest Harris County, stretching along the US-290 corridor from Beltway 8 to beyond the Grand Parkway. The area contains a wide mix of housing eras, from established neighborhoods near Cy-Fair High School that date to the 1970s and 1980s to newer developments along Spring Cypress Road built in the 2000s and 2010s. Older Cypress homes frequently have aging ductwork that was sized for equipment no longer available, and some properties have duct systems that have never been inspected or sealed since original installation. The northwest Harris County location also places Cypress homes in the path of Gulf moisture moving inland, keeping outdoor humidity levels elevated for most of the year and putting consistent strain on cooling equipment.

Ductless and Ducted AC Solutions for Cypress Homes Old and New

Cypress has two distinct housing populations: older established neighborhoods where ductwork may be original to the home, and newer master-planned communities where equipment is more recent but still subject to heavy Gulf Coast runtime. In older Cypress homes, we often find duct systems that leak conditioned air into attic spaces, forcing the AC to run longer and work harder than it should. Sealing or replacing those ducts is sometimes the most impactful improvement a homeowner can make.

Ductless mini-split systems are a practical answer for Cypress properties where extending existing ductwork is not feasible. A home addition, a converted garage, or a bonus room over the garage can all be served by a wall-mounted mini-split air conditioner without tearing into existing walls or ceilings. The outdoor unit connects through a small refrigerant line, and the indoor handler provides independent zone control for that space.

We serve Cypress homeowners with the same honesty and professionalism we bring to every job. You receive a written estimate, a clear contract, and we collect final payment only after the work is finished and you are satisfied. No surprises, no pressure.

Every service, available in Cypress, TX

In Cypress, ductless mini-split air conditioning installation is in high demand for older homes where adding or replacing ductwork is not practical, as well as for newer home additions and converted spaces. Air conditioning repair is a frequent need in the established neighborhoods west of Beltway 8, where systems from the 1980s and 1990s are past their expected service life. Air conditioning maintenance is particularly important in Cypress because the area's high humidity accelerates drain line clogs and coil fouling, both of which cause system shutdowns if left unaddressed. Heating service is also relevant, as northwest Harris County sees periodic winter freezes that can stress heat exchangers and refrigerant lines in systems that run primarily in cooling mode.

I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional and honest A/C repair service. Our outside unit was not working and our house reached 89 degrees. Mario was able to come out the same day I called him and get our unit working. We just bought our house last year and he was able to educate us on the age of our system and recommended when we should think about getting it replaced since we bought an older home and the outside unit is definitely aged. We have a home warranty program but in the future we will be calling Machorro Multiservices for our A/C needs.

This was my first time to work with Primo. They were on time as scheduled. They prepped the work area to protect the furniture and carpeting and cleaned up afterwards. they were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about our needs and in the installation of our new unit. Should we have need for an additional unit in the future we will certainly use them.

Absolutely outstanding service from Primo Air Master. The first company we called said that the blower motor died and that our unit was too old to repair. They gave us an estimate for it to be completely replaced for $5500-$7500. We called Mario for a second opinion and he found that the blower motor was fine and that the problem was actually the capacitor. He made that repair and completed a summer service on the unit for a fraction of the cost. What stands out more than the repair and the cost saving is their INTEGRITY. They are experts providing legitimate repairs instead of companies scamming customers with unnecessary new equipment, expensive service plans, and working on commission. Additionally, they were responsive, timely, and friendly. Don’t be fooled by those larger companies because this smaller business will take better care of you.

Primo Air Masters has serviced my family's home for many years. Mr Mario Machorro and his staff has always done an outstanding job on my family's HVAC needs. The technicians are very professional and courteous, and they do an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company to my family and friends (and already have).

Air Conditioning Contractor FAQ for Cypress, TX

Common questions from Cypress, TX customers about our services, process, and coverage.

Yes. A ductless mini-split air conditioner is specifically designed for spaces that are not connected to a central duct system. The indoor air handler mounts on the wall and connects to an outdoor condenser through a small refrigerant line, requiring only a small hole through the exterior wall. It is one of the least invasive ways to add cooling to an existing Cypress home.

Cypress's high humidity means your AC system removes large amounts of moisture from the air every day it runs. That moisture flows through the condensate drain line, and in a humid climate, algae and mold grow in that line faster than in drier regions. Flushing the drain line is a standard part of our maintenance visits and prevents the overflow shutoffs from tripping and shutting down your system.

Leaky ducts in an attic allow conditioned air to escape into unconditioned space, forcing your AC to run longer to reach the set temperature. Signs include rooms that never cool evenly, a system that runs almost constantly, and energy bills that seem high for the home's size. A duct inspection can identify where air is escaping and whether sealing or replacement makes more sense.

Yes. Northwest Harris County experiences hard freezes in winter, and a heating system that has spent most of the year idle can develop ignitor failures, cracked heat exchangers, or refrigerant issues that only show up when you first turn on the heat. A fall heating check before the first cold front is the best way to avoid a breakdown on the coldest night of the year.
