Air conditioning contractor in Houston Metro Area, TX

The Houston Metro stretches across Harris, Fort Bend, and Montgomery counties, covering a wide range of property types from dense inner-loop high-rises to sprawling suburban homes. The Gulf Coast subtropical climate means air conditioning runs for eight or more months each year, and the combination of heat and persistent humidity pushes systems harder than in drier parts of the country. Homes built across different decades carry different duct configurations, equipment sizes, and refrigerant types, all of which affect how a cooling or heating system performs. Proper system sizing matters here more than almost anywhere else, because an oversized unit cools too fast, skips the dehumidification cycle, and leaves indoor air feeling sticky even when the thermostat reads correctly.

Honest AC Service Across Every Houston Zip Code

Houston's cooling season is long and unforgiving. An AC system here runs far more hours per year than one in a northern climate, which means wear accumulates faster and small problems become big ones quickly. We approach every service call with honesty about what your system actually needs, not what generates the largest invoice.

The Metro covers a wide range of home ages and construction styles. A 1960s ranch home near the inner loop has different duct geometry and insulation levels than a 2010s master-planned community home in the suburbs. We assess each property on its own terms before recommending repairs, replacements, or new installations.

We follow old-fashioned values: show up when we say we will, explain what we found, and charge fairly for the work. Our process is straightforward. You contact us, we provide an estimate, you sign a contract, we complete the job, and final payment comes only after the work is done to your satisfaction.

Every service, available in Houston Metro Area, TX

Across the Houston Metro, air conditioning installation and air conditioning repair are the most requested services because cooling season stretches well into October. Maintenance agreements are especially valuable here because high annual runtime accelerates wear on compressors, coils, and drain lines. Heating service is also needed in winter, as occasional hard freezes can stress heat exchangers and refrigerant lines in systems that spend most of the year in cooling mode. Mini-split air conditioning installation is growing in demand for additions, garages, and older inner-loop homes where adding ductwork is not practical.

I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional and honest A/C repair service. Our outside unit was not working and our house reached 89 degrees. Mario was able to come out the same day I called him and get our unit working. We just bought our house last year and he was able to educate us on the age of our system and recommended when we should think about getting it replaced since we bought an older home and the outside unit is definitely aged. We have a home warranty program but in the future we will be calling Machorro Multiservices for our A/C needs.

This was my first time to work with Primo. They were on time as scheduled. They prepped the work area to protect the furniture and carpeting and cleaned up afterwards. they were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about our needs and in the installation of our new unit. Should we have need for an additional unit in the future we will certainly use them.

Absolutely outstanding service from Primo Air Master. The first company we called said that the blower motor died and that our unit was too old to repair. They gave us an estimate for it to be completely replaced for $5500-$7500. We called Mario for a second opinion and he found that the blower motor was fine and that the problem was actually the capacitor. He made that repair and completed a summer service on the unit for a fraction of the cost. What stands out more than the repair and the cost saving is their INTEGRITY. They are experts providing legitimate repairs instead of companies scamming customers with unnecessary new equipment, expensive service plans, and working on commission. Additionally, they were responsive, timely, and friendly. Don’t be fooled by those larger companies because this smaller business will take better care of you.

Primo Air Masters has serviced my family's home for many years. Mr Mario Machorro and his staff has always done an outstanding job on my family's HVAC needs. The technicians are very professional and courteous, and they do an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company to my family and friends (and already have).

Air Conditioning Contractor FAQ for Houston Metro Area, TX

Common questions from Houston Metro Area, TX customers about our services, process, and coverage.

An oversized air conditioner cools the air quickly but shuts off before completing a full dehumidification cycle, leaving moisture behind. In Houston's subtropical climate, proper system sizing is critical because humidity removal is just as important as temperature reduction. A service technician can check whether your unit is short-cycling and recommend the right fix.

At minimum, once a year before cooling season starts, typically in spring. Because Houston systems run for so many months each year, a second check in fall before heating season is also worthwhile. High annual runtime means coils, drain lines, and filters accumulate buildup faster than in milder climates.

Repair makes sense when the system is relatively recent and the failure is isolated to one component. Replacement becomes the better value when a system is older and the repair cost approaches a significant portion of a new unit's price, especially since older systems in Houston's climate have often already logged heavy hours. We give you a straight comparison so you can decide.

Yes. We handle air conditioning and heating for single-family homes, townhomes, and commercial spaces throughout the Metro. The process is the same: contact us, receive an estimate, sign a contract, and pay only after the job is complete.
